Terms of service

These terms apply to purchases from diplondon.com and our market stalls and events. Dip London is a trading name of Shine & Design Ltd, company number 12185506, 2nd Floor, Unicorn House, Station Close, Potters Bar, Hertfordshire EN6 1TL, United Kingdom. Email: hello@diplondon.com.

Ordering

When you place an order we send an acknowledgement email. The contract is formed when we send the dispatch confirmation. We may refuse or cancel an order if a piece is unavailable, if there is an error in the price or description, or if we suspect fraud; in that case you are refunded in full.

Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown at checkout. We take payment when you place your order. If we discover a pricing error before dispatch we will contact you and you may cancel for a full refund.

Delivery

See our Delivery policy. Risk passes to you on delivery. We deliver within the UK.

Returns, cancellation and faults

See our Returns policy. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

The 12-month promise

Pieces whose product page says they carry our 12-month colour promise are covered for 12 months from delivery: if the colour fades or the plating wears through in normal wear, we replace the piece, or refund it if we cannot. The promise does not cover loss, breakage from impact, damage from chemicals (perfume, chlorine, cleaning products) or alteration by a third party. One replacement per piece. Product information

Each product page states what the piece is made of. Gold-plated pieces are plated, not solid gold. Colours on screen may differ slightly from the piece. Some images are made with AI tools to show a piece on a model. Our jewellery is intended for adults; small parts are a choking hazard for young children.

Reviews

If you send us a review, you allow us to show it on our site with your first name and town. We read every review before publishing it and we do not pay for reviews.

Gift cards

Gift cards are delivered by email, have no expiry date, can be spent online over one or more orders, and can't be exchanged for cash.

Liability

We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms or our negligence. We are not liable for business losses. Nothing excludes liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything that cannot be excluded by law.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without affecting your right to bring a claim where you live in the UK.
